Busy Summer So Far...

So you may ask why we haven't posted anything lately? We have been very busy this summer. It is so pretty in Oregon in the summer you feel you must do so much when the weather is this perfect. We are busy in our garden many evenings....

Then on July 4th we went with our friends the Brown's to a picnic on the Columbia river and later to watch Fireworks. We actually cooked steaks and had a great time watching the boats small and large travel along this beautiful river for several leisurely hours.

Walt had to take down a tree that died in our yard so that kept him busy for a few days. I was sure thankful he didn't get hurt.

It was no small undertaking but he did get it down. Then we take time to play with our dogs, Buster and Sasha....aren't they cute!!

Also, Walt is doing a lot of woodworking this summer. He has made cages for all of our tomato vines. He is also working on a new bookshelf for the church bookstore ministry he has started. As you can see he seems to be enjoying himself here. He also has several other small projects in various stages of production he is always working on.

And of course he has been fishing...or should we say catching...
