A Wonderful Day

Hello All,

Just a quick note at the end of a wonderful day. I trust your Saturday was good. Our's was a great day. Sara went to play with a special friend for most of the day which was very special for her. Pam and I just loafed and did neat things together. We shopped a few late summer garage sales. We picked plums from a very abundant crop on our friend's tree and perpared them for drying. We washed both cars together. And then we harvested a huge number of vine ripened tomatoes from our garden for canning along with the last of the blackberries, green beans, cucumbers and squash. A lot of fun to grow and harvest. Then we had a nice family dinner in the evening sunshine. The weather today was gorgeous. The high was 80 something with full sunshine all day. And there is just a hint of fall in the air. Just a great time of year.
