Ahhhh...Northwest Summer Steelhead Fishing!
A great morning on the river! My long-time friend Perry(above), and I headed out early this morning to our favorite "unnamed" river and some summer steelhead fishing. And we both had success!
Perry hooked and landed a beautiful, bright 28" hen almost as soon as we started fishing, and while dawn was just breaking. And a half hour later God was kind to me and I hooked up and landed a 22" bright buck. While the pics show the difference in size you should know that I am delighted in just having landed a fish this morning. There were 10 fishermen in the hole this morning, and a total of 3 fish caught, and Perry and I had 2 of them.
Ahhh...summer steelhead fishing!
